March 19 has come and gone but before it arrived there was planning and prayer. I am beginning a new ministry with a new group of Haitian pastors and I am the new kid on the block or should I say the new old man on the block. Trust and respect are earned. Listening and following someone you don’t know does not come easy at first. You partner with someone you know and these men do not know me so this meeting was prayed over.
Well since the meeting has come and gone I can tell you that God answered our prayers. The meeting went very well with 10 out of the 11 pastors being present, along with Emmanuel and myself. The mission is working with 7 churches so several of the churches have more than one pastor. Our meeting lasted for around 3 hours which included, prayer, introductions of each pastor and myself, breakfast, and sharing individual and church needs, goals and dreams.
