Where to begin…

Since coming back in on Sept. 30th I cannot believe everything that has been going on.  When we went out to BeauChamp it was just like Janeil had said it was — the road to BeauChamp was so different.  There were places that we could see past where before was covered with trees/banana groves.  We could see the riverbed below whereas before we had never seen it.  There were places where the water from the hurricanes had to have been 5 feet above the road.  The debris in the trees was amazing.  When we got to BeauChamp everyone was so glad to see us — especially Bandit and Cody (our dogs).  We were so glad to see everyone and to know that no one in BeauChamp lost their life due to the hurricanes; however, many did lose their animals and houses.  There was so much to take in.  We were very blessed as our house was fine and so were our animals.
Mike began to talk with Rob (our neighbor from the Netherlands) who is doing a housing project.  He is assessing the needs of those who were hit the hardest. …
