Mike and I would like to thank all of you for your prayers and concerns during Mike’s surgery. Today is 1 week since surgery and Mike is doing very well. We are both getting a little stir crazy and need to get out. Recovery is going well especially when we had to be inside due to Tropical Storm Faye’s rain. We were very fortunate to have stayed dry during this time seeing how we were in the area that had over 2 feet of rain. Right in our area so many people were affected by flooding, power outages and the beaches took such a big hit with beach erosion but we stayed dry and never lost our power — so we were very comfortable. We stayed up and watched the olympics every evening way to late but what the heck — we could sleep in!
It has been I real JOY having Vogly with us. This is his first time to the U.S. He is pretty quiet so it is sometimes hard to read him but I know he has had a good time even though he has had to …
